If you want to start reading with your little person or you’re looking for new books you and your under-6s will love, then you’ve come to the right place.
Choosing great children’s books can be tough, time-consuming AND expensive; with little people in your life, the time to leisurely browse for books in a shop is often a luxury you just don’t have.
This is where Books & Pieces can help. I’m Amanda, owner of Books & Pieces, and I spend time sourcing brilliant books you and your family will love at low prices you’ll really adore too. I specialise in books for 0-6 year-olds and sell over 150 books in my 3 for £10 offer all year round, from buggy books, cloth books and bath books to lift-the-flap, sensory books, storybooks and activity books.
In July 2018 I launched a monthly children’s book subscription for 0-5 year olds. Members of the Storybook Subscription receive three books every month, plus activity ideas to help bring the books to life.
I road test the books I sell with my three boys – I refuse to sell a book I wouldn’t share with my own children and our friends, so you can be confident any book you choose on my site will be a hit.
Want to send books as a gift? Not a problem. My gift-wrapping service which includes a personalised note makes gifting books easy. And if you want help choosing the books, drop me a line and I’ll tailor a selection just for you.
And if you’re looking for tips for sharing books with your little people, take a look at my blog.
A bit about me
I’m a mum to three ‘bubbly’ boys. As you’d imagine, we’re mad about books; they’re a huge part of our lives and they’ve made such a big difference in my boys’ development.
Before I started working full time for Books & Pieces I was a PR Manager in higher education, and before that I worked in Sports PR. When I’m not working or corralling my rowdy bunch, I like to hit the local cross country trails (because constantly running after my three just isn’t enough!), or I’ll grab a book for a bit of escapism – I’m a member of a local book club so love to read books I wouldn’t have picked up myself. We all live in lovely Leicestershire.
